Photoshop CS3 for Dummies Review

dummies.pngThe newest Photoshop Dummies book has been released. Photoshop CS3 for Dummies is a guide to creating and enhancing images in Photoshop CS3. It starts out giving an overview of Photoshop, and then goes into detail on simple enhancements, such as color, shadows and highlights, common problems, and the camera raw plug-in. It also explains techniques for more artistic creations, such as adding layer styles, using vector paths, combining images, using filters, painting, and using text. Streamlining is also covered, and Photoshop CS3 Extended is introduced. The author then reveals some of his favorite tips and tricks, and then the book ends by stating the benefits of welcome tablets and owning digital cameras.

Photoshop CS3 for Dummies was published April 2007. With 416 pages and 20 chapters, it is available in both paperback hardback. The author, Peter Bauer, has written six other books on Photoshop and Illustrator, is the host of Photoshop Training videos, and is a writer for Photoshop User and Layers magazines.
